The future success of Lincolnshire based CSE International has been secured following a Management Buy Out (MBO).
Ownership of the company has been retained within the company following the retirement of the Chief Executive, Dr Phil Bennett.
Over its 24 year history CSE has built an enviable reputation for its specialist knowledge of systems assurance, safety and quality management contributing to major airport, air traffic control and railway projects around the world. Projects such as the development of the Mass Transit Railways of Hong Kong and Singapore, airports including Chek Lap Kok in Hong Kong, Incheon International Airport in South Korea and London Heathrow and the Channel Tunnel have all benefitted from CSE’s expertise.
Alan McCartney, who as the Managing Director led the MBO Team to success, commented ‘It is a great privilege to continue the work of Dr Phil Bennett who, with CSE International, has made such a significant contribution to our industry for so many years.’ He added ‘With an excellent management team and some of the best specialists in our field, CSE will continue our work in ensuring the integrity of the systems and software that are vital to our clients operations, safety and security wherever they are in the world.’
From its base in Flixborough the company is currently working on projects as diverse as London Heathrow’s Terminal 5, Eurocontrol in Belgium and the new High Speed Railway in Taiwan. CSE is confident of significant growth into the future and is rapidly growing its presence in India with contracts on the expansion of New Delhi and Mumbai International Airports.
The new board is formed of directors Alan McCartney, Karen Marshall and Keith Downing.
Assisting in the MBO were Advisors and Accountants Garbutt and Elliott and Dickinson Dees who handled the legal aspects of the deal, both companies of York.
